Terms of Use
Tumble · last updated 4 October 2026
These terms are between you and Amith Chandrappa (“we”), who makes Tumble. By downloading or playing Tumble, you agree to them. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two differ, these terms apply as far as Apple’s rules allow. How we handle your data is on the privacy page.
Your licence to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Tumble on Apple devices you own or control, for your own entertainment. Tumble itself, its levels, art, music and code stay ours. Please do not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or modify the app, or use its levels or content outside it, except where the law allows you to.
Who can play
Tumble is not directed at children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should agree to these terms, and to any purchase, with you.
Your player and your name
Tumble makes an anonymous player for you, kept on your phone and our servers. You are responsible for what happens with it. Your display name and country are public. Your name must not be offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening, impersonate someone else, contain personal details such as phone numbers, or advertise anything. Names are checked automatically and can be reported by other players; we may reject, remove or reset a name that breaks these rules, without notice.
Tumble Plus
Tumble Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly. It gives unlimited tries on Levels 2 and 3, no ads, the Archive of past days and profile flair, for as long as it is active. Prices are set by the App Store for your country and shown in the App Store and in the app before you buy.
- Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. Purchases are handled by Apple, under Apple’s terms.
- Auto-renewal. The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you turn auto-renew off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iPhone’s Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or in the App Store. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Plus stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app or your Tumble account does not cancel a subscription.
- Free trial. The yearly plan may come with a free trial, shown before you subscribe. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it turns into a paid yearly subscription and you are charged. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription. Apple allows one introductory offer per person.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple, under Apple’s policies; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves. If a purchase is refunded, what it unlocked may be removed.
- Restoring. Use Settings › Restore purchases in the app on a device signed in with the same Apple ID.
Cosmetics, tries and other virtual items
Crates, characters, room styles, extra tries, streak freezes and anything else in the game, whether bought or earned, are a licence to use them in Tumble. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be sold or transferred. Nothing you buy makes a level easier: every try has the same rules.
Fair play
Tumble is a daily contest, the same for everyone, so please play fair. Do not use modified apps, bots, scripts or automated solvers; do not tamper with or send fake data to our servers; do not exploit bugs to climb the leaderboards; and do not run more than one player to gain an advantage. Every clear is checked by our server. We may remove results, names, rankings, Legends entries or World Firsts that we believe were gained unfairly, and suspend or delete players who cheat.
The service
Tumble needs our servers for the daily levels, leaderboards and purchases. We work to keep it running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, and we may change, add or remove features, levels or content. If we ever have to shut Tumble down, we will say so in the app ahead of time.
Ending these terms
You can stop playing at any time and delete your account in Settings › Account › Delete account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, cheat, or misuse the service. When your access ends, your licence to use Tumble and its virtual items ends too.
No warranty, and limits on liability
Tumble is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise it will be free of errors or always available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, rankings or streaks, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Tumble in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Tumble or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms, able to enforce them against you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top changes, and if the change is significant we will say so in the app. Playing after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute goes to the courts of India, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it in your own courts.
