Coming end of October

Put your face on the map.

How it plays

Claim it. Defend it. Brag about it.

Every square of land in the world is up for grabs, starting with your street. Tap one on the map to see who owns it, and how many digs it takes.

Claim

Dig to make it yours.

Your first dig is free, and a new free dig arrives every day, at the same moment for everyone. Bank up to three. Whoever has dug a square the most owns it.

Defend

Rivals will come for it.

When someone gets within one dig of you, you hear first. Lost it anyway? Your digs there never reset, so taking it back is often a single dig.

Brag

Show the whole group.

Share a card of the square you took, your rank or your streak, straight to WhatsApp or an Instagram story. Can they take it back?

Faces first

Your face on every square you hold.

Zoom into your street and see who holds each square. Every owner stands on their land as a 3D character, or their own photo, with their name underneath.

  • Pick a character or use a photo, and shuffle whenever you like.
  • A home square. Your digs there count double, so your own street is yours to defend.
  • Sneak attacks. Close the gap in one go and take a square before its owner is warned.

Golden today

The Golden Square.

Every day, Golden Squares appear near the people playing: one a day in an area once it has 5 active players, two once it has 50. They are picked at random. Whoever holds one when the day ends wins it.

  • +2 bonus digs for the holder when the day ends.
  • A crown on your name for the next day.
  • A countdown on the map and the boards, so everyone knows how long is left.

Boards

Top your area.

The board ranks whoever owns the most squares in your area. Zoom out and it grows with you: your city, your country, the whole world.

  • The top 20, and your own rank pinned below, wherever you are.
  • Named boards for places like colleges and neighbourhoods, each with its own page.
  • A Friends board that ranks just you and your friends.

  • Dares won and held are counted on your profile.
  • The Feed shows takes, claims and Golden Squares in your areas, even when you have no digs left.
  • Invite a friend with your code and you both get a dig.
The Me tab: a 23-day streak, 16 squares, 156 digs and an invite code
Streaks

Dig every day.

Dig at least once a day to grow your streak. The flame sits next to your digs, so you always know where you stand.

  • Every 7th day of a streak earns a bonus dig.
  • A reminder in the evening, your time, if you have not dug yet, so the streak does not slip.
  • A new day starts at 00:00 UTC (5:30 am in India), the same moment for everyone, wherever they are.
